If you want to add a doorbell, you’ll need a different Nest Aware subscription. You can only add up to 20 nest cams and 5 doorbells using this service, so if you want more than that, it will be necessary to purchase another plan through the Nest website.

The good news is that if you already have an existing Nest Aware subscription and want to add in additional cameras or accessories like motion sensors, thermostats and smoke alarms (which all work with Nest Aware), then there will be no additional cost involved in doing so!

For example, you might have a couple of cameras at home that record to Nest Aware and another camera on the front porch that records to Nest Aware as well. When someone rings your doorbell, you want them to be able to see who’s there before opening the door! This is where Nest Aware comes in handy: you can set up their camera so it will record whenever someone approaches the front door (or any other part of your house). Then when they press play on this recording later in their phone (or computer), they’ll be able to see exactly who came by—and even get an audio version if needed!

You can also choose whether or not everyone gets access historical recordings from all devices associat with each account: whether it’s just one person’s device like their smartphone or tablet; multiple people sharing one account; etc…

Tap on your camera or doorbell and select it from the list of devices under Manage home.

With 30-day video history, you can scroll through a day’s worth of 24/7 recording in about 10 seconds, or just watch the highlights

Nest Aware is the best option if you have multiple cameras in your home. With 30-day video history, you can scroll through a day’s worth of 24/7 recording in about 10 seconds, or just watch the highlights on YouTube.

30-Day Video History

Nest Aware lets you see what happened during your last 30 days of recordings whenever you want—and it does so in real time! That means that if someone sees something suspicious when going through their phone camera (or even just walking by), they can check out all those hours later and see what happened just before they arrived at their door. The app also records motion activity from any movement detected by its motion detector feature; this includes movement within an area defined by walls or doors as well as outside activity like cars passing by outside windows or people running past them while inside their homes with Nest Aware turned on indoors (this feature requires additional equipment).

Nest Aware is a great system for keeping tabs on what’s happening in your home. It has the ability to monitor temperature, humidity and even air quality using Nest’s built-in sensors. If you want to add more cameras or sensors, that’s also an option!

But how do you know if it will work with multiple cameras? Well, Nest Aware is design to work with one camera at a time. That means if you have two Nest Cameras plugged into the same outlet (or wired together), only one will appear in your dashboard app (the other one won’t show up). This makes sense since each camera needs its own power supply and storage space. If there are multiple cameras plugg into one outlet though—for example: wireless indoor/outdoor models—then they’ll all display together in the app instead of being separat out by type like with wired models.[1][2]

You can add as many nest cameras as you want with nest aware

Nest Aware is compatible with up to 20 Nest cameras and 5 doorbells. You can add multiple cameras at once, or set them up in different locations. You can also use Nest Aware to add multiple doorbells if you prefer not to have one central hub for your home security system.

When it comes to setting up your camera history lengths, there are two options:

  • Short (15 minutes): This option records short clips of activity that occur when someone answers or presses the button on their front door or garage/gate. These clips last 15 minutes before being delet by Nest Aware or a user-specified time frame depending on how long they’ve store manually by users before being delete automatically by default via auto-delete settings in this case where users may want an earlier start date than 15 minutes so if there wasn’t any activity within 15 minutes after its last record session then this would mean no further recording would take place but only until another new session starts which could mean another 30 days worth altogether because each session lasts about 10 seconds long so if something happens during that 10 second window then we’ll see exactly what happen during those 10 seconds rather than seeing nothing happening every day throughout our whole month’s worth of recordings since nobody ever looks through them all carefully enough anyway so no harm done there either way.”

Conclusion

Nest Aware is a great way to make sure your Nest products are working together as they should. If you have multiple Nest devices and want to control them with one app, it’s the perfect choice!
